Create Location Services Client

In your activity's onCreate() method, create an instance of the Fused Location Provider Client as the following code snippet shows.

private FusedLocationProviderClient fusedLocationClient;

    @Override
    protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {

    fusedLocationClient = LocationServices.getFusedLocationProviderClient(this);
